Miss Ocean World 2026 Finale Week Begins in Jaipur, 20 Countries Arrive at Ananta Mahal

JAIPUR: The finale week of Miss Ocean World 2026 began at Ananta Mahal in Mansarovar with a welcome ceremony for contestants representing 20 countries. Fusion Group Director and pageant organiser Yogesh Mishra, along with Nimisha Mishra, said the grand finale will take place on August 23 at the same venue.

The event is being held in Jaipur as a tourism and cultural-exchange activity. Organisers said it gives international participants a chance to experience Rajasthan’s heritage, monuments and cuisine while promoting the pageant’s stated motto of a pollution-free and clean ocean.

Welcome Ceremony and Daily Schedule

The first day featured the official welcome and arrival-look presentations. Contestants from the United Kingdom, Japan, South Sudan, Uganda, Indonesia, Russia, Zimbabwe, India, Bangladesh, Kenya, Cameroon, Hong Kong and other nations took part.

Directors Ekta Jain and C.P. Rathore confirmed the list of participating countries. Ananta Mahal General Manager Lokendra Singh Rathore said Miss Ocean World 2023 winner Laura Hudson of the United Kingdom has arrived to take part in the crown-passing ceremony.

The remaining programme is structured as follows: a sash ceremony on the second day, a photogenic round on the third day, and a Jaipur tour on the fourth day. The tour will cover the city’s monuments, culture and heritage, followed by a traditional Rajasthani meal at Virasat Heritage Restaurant in Kukas.

Pageant Background and Theme

Miss Ocean World, organised by Fusion Group and founded by Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra, has been held mainly in India since 2023. The pageant includes evening-gown, swimsuit and question-and-answer rounds that address environmental protection. Its current theme emphasises ocean conservation.

The 2025 titleholder is Evaline Neim Mohammed Salleh of South Sudan. Earlier winners include Laura Louise Hudson of the United Kingdom (2023). The Jaipur edition continues the practice of hosting the international finals in the city.

Organisers described the week as an opportunity for cultural exchange. Contestants will visit heritage sites and sample local food, aligning the competition with Rajasthan tourism promotion.
