In a proud moment for India, Komal Vaishnav from Jalore district, Rajasthan, made history by winning the prestigious Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 title held in Malaysia. Komal became the first Indian to win this coveted crown, marking a significant achievement on the global stage.

The international beauty pageant was hosted in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, from June 11 to 15, and saw participation from 23 contestants representing 15 different countries. Komal’s grace, confidence, and dedication helped her rise above the competition and bring the title home.

Originally from Guda Ram village in Bhadrajun Tehsil of Jalore, Komal currently resides in Mumbai. Her father, Amritlal Vaishnav, is a jeweler in Mumbai's renowned Mugadevi Jewelry Market. Her elder brother is also in the gold business, while her younger brother is still pursuing his education. Their mother is a homemaker.

Komal began preparing for the competition a month in advance and left for Malaysia on June 10. Following her win, she returned to India on June 16 and received a grand welcome at Mumbai Airport. On June 21, she arrived in her hometown Jalore, where she was warmly welcomed by her family, locals, and Ahor MLA Chhagan Singh.

Currently in her second year of college, Komal has aspirations to enter the film industry and is pursuing a professional course in Mumbai to support her dreams. Adding to her list of achievements, her first music video is set to release in July.

Komal’s victory has sparked joy across the Jalore district, where she is now seen as a source of inspiration for young girls and aspiring talents. Her story is a testament to hard work, dreams, and determination.
