JAIPUR MOTORCYCLE CLUB HOSTS THRILLING TIME ATTACK EVENT

Jaipur, 7 October :
The Jaipur Motorcycle Club (JMC), India's oldest motorcycle club, founded in 1975 by John Singh, successfully hosted its much-anticipated ‘Time Attack’ event. Held at the Soulfeel Cricket Stadium and Dirt Track in Harmada in Jaipur, the event drew motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region, showcasing a high-octane display of skill, speed and precision.

The winners of the event showcased exceptional skills across all categories. In the Open Class, Vijay Singh took first place, followed by Sohyab Qureshi in second, and Tahir Gour securing the third position. The Up to 200cc category mirrored the same results with Vijay Singh once again taking the top spot, followed by Sohyab Qureshi in second and Tahir Gour in third position. In the 201-500cc category, Vijay Singh claimed first place, with Dilip Lalwani taking second and Mh Hamid securing third position.

The President of the club, Indra Vijay Singh informed that the ‘Time Attack’ event is a motorsport discipline that originated in Japan in the mid-1960s. It challenges riders to race against the clock to achieve the best lap time. Competitors raced in staggered lap times, allowing for a safer environment compared to traditional wheel-to-wheel racing. The event consisted of preliminary circuits, followed by timed laps, and concluded with a cool-down lap, offering riders the opportunity to push both themselves and their machines to the limit.

The club will host more such events on a regular basis.
