Jaipur, 29 July :  Prakash Purub of the 8th Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji was celebrated on Monday, 29 July as 'Seva Diwas' by the members of Sukhmani Seva Society of Bani Park with the children of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Senior Secondary School located in Raja Park. On this occasion, Surya Uday Singh of the society gave information about Prakash Purub to the children. Later, Pinky Singh of the society made the children chant ‘Waheguru Jaap’.Along with this, slides and educational games were presented to the children in the school. Fruits and chocolates were also distributed to the children.

On the occasion of Prakash Purab, the members of the society's religious group, "Apni Mehar Kar," recited 1865 ‘Dukh Bhanjani Sahib Paath’ and chanted ‘Shri Harkrishan Dhiyaiye Jaap’. Society members Preeti Kaur, Romi Kaur, Jagmohan Singh Anand, Chetan Nagpal, Virendra Singh, Paramjit Singh and Jagdeep Singh were also present on the occasion. School Chairman, Ajay Pal Singh congratulated everyone on Prakash Purab and Secretary, Jasbir Singh expressed his gratitude to the Sukhmani Seva Society for this service.
